Lab Topology
Scenario
- The goal is to examine the LACP and PAgP packets between the switches in the lab environment
- In this lab exercise, I've set up a SPAN or port mirroring session to analyze the packets sent and received by port channel interfaces 1 and 2 on the HQ-Core-SW1 switch
- LACP port channel 1 consisting of physical interfaces Gi1/0/21 and Gi1/0/23 towards HQ-DistroSW1
- PAgP port channel 2 consisting of physical interfaces Gi1/0/25 and Gi1/0/27 towards HQ-DistroSW2
- The captured inbound/outbound traffic will be copied and funneled out towards the Wireshark Analyzer off of port Gi1/0/1 on HQ-Core-SW1 to my PC
