Errdisable Recovery is a feature that allows a switch port that has been automatically disabled due to an error condition (errdisable state), to be automatically re-enabled after a specified time
This feature helps to restore network connectivity without requiring manual intervention by network administrators
When to use:
Used in environments where port errors are short-lived to reduce network downtime
Used for networks that are less prone to manual oversight and operational delays in resolving issues
Note: Errdisable recovery should not be a permanent solution if the root cause of the issue is not addressed. In such cases, Errdisable recovery will cause consistent link flapping issues
